PRESKO Winch PEW 12000 can be bought with a steel or synthetic cable and are often installed in vehicles used in agriculture, forestry, firefighting and industry. The marking 1200 is the winch’s maximum line pull of 12,000 lbs (5443 kg).
How to choose a right line pull? First of all, one needs to know the weight of the vehicle that the winch would operate on. The weight should be multiplied by 1.5, and the resulting number is the load capacity (line pull) of the winch.
